In response to Tennessee’s First to the Top Initiative, this event engaged school and district leadership teams in exploring evidence-based recommendations on college readiness. The event was organized around the IES (Institute of Education Sciences) Practice Guide, Helping Students Navigate the Path to College: What High Schools Can Do. The event included presentations by expert researchers, policy makers, and practitioners, as well as school/district team discussion, reflection, and planning to boost college readiness and access in Tennessee secondary schools. Both CEO and TASL (Tennessee Academy for School Leaders) credit were available.
